Ballykisteen is a relaxing country location incorporating a championship golf course, the Serenity Day Spa and leisure facilities. The hotel is located on the main Limerick to Waterford Road (N24) close to the scenic Glen of Aherlow in the lea of the Galtee Mountains and is easily accessible from all routes. There is easy access to both Limerick and Tipperary Town.
The on site 18 hole championship golf course has been recently upgraded and offers panoramic views of the Galtee Mountains and surrounding countryside. This Des Smith designed mature parkland course provides a challenge for all levels of golfers. Guests can also pamper themselves with a relaxing Serenity Day Spa treatment featuring luxury Matis products, excellent body massages and hot stone therapy. The hotel also features a fully equipped gym, sauna, solarium and indoor swimming pool.
The hotel features 85 rooms consisting of four Suites, thirty six Superior rooms and forty five independent suites each consisting of two spacious double bedrooms, all offer free broadband access. Each Independent Suite includes a private sitting room, kitchenette, golf storage and spacious double en-suite bedrooms; a tranquil and relaxing stay is guaranteed. For more cultural and historical attractions, there is the Rock of Cashel, Bru Boru Cultural Centre, Cahir Castle, Holycross Abbey, Mitchelstown Cave and the Excel Heritage Centre in Tipperary. The Hunt Museum and King Johns Castle are located in Limerick city - 20 minutes from the hotel. Just a short drive out you can visit the picturesque Adare village or the medieval Bunratty.
